Nowadays..

Today I went to the post office to mail my children’s book manuscript to the publisher.  I feel so happy to be sending it off.  I’ve been working on my book and working towards getting my book published for almost a year, and I got my book query accepted last week.  The childrens’ book is about animals living in our local park, and what they do in their natural habitat as free animals.  I talked to my mom today and she supports my book idea, which really is a tad surprising, given in the beginning she doubted I would get an acception, heh.

Also today I went to City Park today to make some sketches of the birds there.   Since I’ve got some more free time on my hands it’s been nice to get around and have some leisure time.  The atmosphere at the park is wonderfully calm, it gave me some time to think over things and relax from months of writing pressure from my old job.  I think I’ll go for part-time instead once I start looking for a new writing employer.

Things seem to be looking up a bit. =)
